Hi All, I'm very glad for birth of www.empowermedia.tv! Finally, with this virtual open space, we can really speak as a community net!...without lose any address e-mails, staying in contact with all people that participate at the international exchange and...I hope it will be a way to meet a lot of people that we don't still know!
...moreover we can exchange suggestions about video idea and work in progress, and receive profits councils by all community!About this, in the next days I will upload the documentary idea which we have been work on......and last but not least we can tell our trip story, that sometimes are very tragic-comic!It's true Italian guys? Do you remember when we flew from Zagreb to Turin?
It was incredible, we were in the airport in search of right number check-in and we discovered that in Zagreb there is only one check-in! All people, ones that must fly at 8 a.m. than ones that must fly at 9 a.m. made the same column...without any priority! I hope that no one decides to kill its neighbour!
Then we also lost the flight, Leanna wanted us to enjoy one more month in Bosnia ! (smile)! So we didn't sleep but we had time to visit the town...Zagreb is very beautiful and we found it similar to Turin...

Even in Italy there is, actually there was, an underground world always put down.
In the ’80 Turin was a real underground city with good and bad aspects. If on the one hand the circulation of drugs between young people was at its highest level, on the other hand loads of “bad guys” tried to rebel against the claustrophobic atmosphere of the industrial city with music, colours, and poems.
Nowadays, in our city, the underground culture has lost most of its meaning: it has become a fashion issue, everybody is speaking about this subject without knowing what it means and what it represents. At the same time, some cultural centres are working about that with laboratories of writers and deejay sets to give to this world the right role in the city, but this is a top-down way to work...really different from the first underground scene!

The main problem:
Our society rejects every kind of different way of expresing ideas, and art. None accepts underground style as way of art. In every other country, society is very open to this kind of art. That is not the case of Tuzla.There are a lot of individuals who are working in the underground scene, but the rest of society rejects them and doesn't give them any support. Just few of the underground artists succeed and became a bit ''famous''. But, in almost every case, not in the city where they come from: usually they succed in other countries.
